GRLR's Public Training empowers educators and parents to provide life-changing literacy instruction.
Being well-trained is the first step in teaching every child to read. To get started, attend a two-day training led by Colleen Somich (B.A., M.Ed., Sue Lehmann Award finalist 2009, former: teacher, school leader, and New York University Adjunct Instructor; Ruth Miskin Training Certified Consultant; Get Reading, Love Reading LLC Founder). Cultivating trust and teamwork, Colleen will show you how to get every child reading and love reading using Read Write Inc. Phonics.
This approach has evolved from the science of reading and techniques gained from supporting thousands of schools around the globe. It is grounded in the power of systematic synthetic phonics, joy, and teaching a comprehensive, research-based literacy program.
GRLR alchemizes the science and art of reading into a common purpose—transforming early literacy instruction and helping children reach their full potential.
